I didn’t start going to the gym until I was in my 40s and I was naturally a bit wary, but with Gio’ Murru I soon overcame my fears. He is a great trainer who offers a tailor-made personal program in which you obtain targets that at first appeared impossible.
Under Gio’s guidance I became a fan of the whole keep fit culture and I now take greater care of my body (not only exercise, but also things like proper diet and sufficient sleep).
And there is an extra element with Gio’. Not only is he himself an excellent athlete (having played as a wide receiver in Italy’s professional football league), he is also a very well-read and intelligent guy. I guess this isn’t surprising, given that his father taught ancient Greek. Some of the more interesting conversations I have had in recent years have been spread out over the two minute doses of recovery time that come between exercises during a one-hour work-out!
