GETTING STARTED

Patience, young grasshopper! Like all activities, CrossFit has a bit of a learning curve. You are learning movements you may have never done before, and it is important be patient while mastering these. We have found the most effective way to do this is by focusing on mechanics, then consistency, and finally intensity. It typically takes new members a couple weeks to get comfortable with both the movements and the intensity of the workouts. Just like learning a new language. The more you practice, the faster you will improve. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is the human body.

ON RAMP CLASS
Our beginners class is a 4-week/3-time-a-week program to teach you the fundamentals of all the movements we do in our training system. They are semi-private sessions, in small groups. Every session will last one hour and it will have a warm up, one or more new skill movement progression, and obviously a workout at the end!
In addition to teaching the fundamental lifts and introducing members to the various types of workouts we implement, we also review equipment used and provide an orientation of the gym and the methodology, while at the same time your body will start improving and getting conditioned and ready for the future 'general' classes.

Extraordinary coaching, great program to follow, great community. Everyone there is supportive and positive, and even having started a couple years ago at over 50 years of age, I feel younger and stronger, more flexible and confident than I have
